Pre-Medicine Placement Platform

We are working to enhance access to pre-medical school work experience programmes. Currently, accessing requisite information and forms for applying to an observership as a 16/17-year-old can be challenging without direct hospital contacts. We aim to level the playing field by compiling a comprehensive database of necessary forms and information for applying to numerous hospitals across the UK. This initiative will streamline the application process and help foster equal opportunities.

 

Led by the UK Plastic Surgery Research Collaborative (UKPRC), INSPIRE is a programme that aims to make Plastic Surgery training more accessible and inclusive. INSPIRE offers delegates bespoke career development opportunities for those interested in Plastic Surgery and aims to collate data to produce actionable recommendations for the field. The programme is currently in its pilot year ahead of its intended national rollout in January 2025.
