We are a national society founded by medical students with a strong passion for plastic surgery.
We work together with national plastic surgery associations such as BAPRAS and PLASTA UK to bring you plastic surgery-focused educational content.
Our Aims
Inspiration
PRASSA UK is the UK’s first national student-led plastic surgery association, dedicated to inspiring and supporting the next generation of plastic surgeons.
Networking
We provide a central hub for university-affiliated plastic surgery societies, connecting over 40 universities across the UK through a national network of student representatives and collaborative initiatives.
We are proud to work alongside leading plastic surgery organisations, including PLASTA UK, BAPRAS, and PRASIS, strengthening the link between medical students, surgeons, and the wider plastic surgery community.
Education
We aim to address the lack of plastic surgery teaching at medical schools through the provision of national teaching initiatives, educational events, and online resources for medical students.
Innovation
Through annual initiatives such as our national conference, national teaching series, essay competition, and research projects, we aim to increase engagement with innovation in plastic surgery.
